Unrefined coconut oil, also known as ‘pure’ or ‘virgin’ coconut oil, is made from fresh coconut meat and typically does have a subtle but distinct taste and flavor.
It can withstand higher temperatures but also has fewer nutrients and more of the unhealthy trans-fat.
Virgin coconut oil does not contain any chemicals and will provide all the benefits listed below.
