No way, last week we promised, today we deliver!
Here are a few more benefits for your health:
REGULATING PH OF SKIN
Apple cider vinegar makes a great natural toner that will leave your skin looking healthier. Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that keep acne under control. The malic and lactic acids in apple cider vinegar soften and exfoliate skin, reducing red spots and balancing the pH of the skin. Dilute apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water, and distribute the toner over your face. It’s recommended to do this day and night after washing your face, but before moisturizing. To fade age spots or acne scars, dab apple cider vinegar on the affected area and leave it overnight.
Apple cider vinegar is a recommended for the removal of warts. To remove warts, soak a cotton ball in the vinegar, then place the cotton ball over the wart and fasten with a Band-Aid or athletic tape leaving it overnight. The skin may swell as it reacts to the apple cider vinegar, however the wart will fall off. To make sure the wart does not return, continue the treatment for a few days.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM BENEFITS
Apple cider vinegar can help alleviate tummy troubles. If a bacterial infection is the cause for diarrhea, apple cider vinegar could help stop the problem due to its antibacterial properties. Another way apple cider vinegar can help with diarrhea, is due to the vinegar containing pectin which will soothe intestinal spasms. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with water or a clear juice such as apple juice.
Apple cider vinegar can help reduce heartburn. It may seem like an oxymoron to treat stomach acid with and acidic vinegar, however there is research showing that apple cider vinegar corrects low acid, consequently reducing heartburn. This natural remedy should begin to work shortly after consumption of the apple cider vinegar. To treat heartburn with ACV, take 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar followed by a glass of water. Please note this won’t work if heartburn is being caused by an ulcer.
Apple cider vinegar can help prevent indigestion. If you know you are going to indulge in foods that will cause you indigestion, sip this concoction before eating.
